George Frederick McKay was a prolific composer, born a year after Gershwin, whose music evokes folksong, jazz, blues, street music, and Native American influences. We will record 4 of his reflective, playful, and intricate string quartets with Seattle’s GRAMMY award-winning, David Sabee, as producer.
