The award-winning Formosa Quartet is hosted by Eastern Michigan University for a week-long chamber music residency including a series of masterclasses, open rehearsals, and workshops on performance, community engagement, and career development.  

The week will culminate with two concerts, a performance with Dr. Mary Schneider and EMU Winds Symphony of Joel Puckett's Concerto for String Quartet and Wind Symphony, Short Stories, and a special all-Formosa concert presented by Eastern Michigan University's Honors College.

The Chicago Chamber Musicians began performing the FREE First Monday concerts in 1986. CCM's first regular concert series has been pleasing audiences in person at the Chicago Cultural Center and live on WFMT with programs of chamber music from Baroque to modern day favorites.

All concerts at 12:15pm at Preston Bradley Hall in the Chicago Cultural Center and broadcast live on WFMT 98.7FM

Join Formosa Quartet at the concert hall or on the sound waves for this special broadcast. They will perform dynamic works by Bartok and Stéphane Grappelli.
